(The following was copied from his personal site.)--------"I'm a fairly laid back and somewhat quiet guy. I like going to clubs with friends or just hangin out at someone's house. The friends I have around here are very important to me and so is my buddy, Jack. Check out his pic in my profile. He's the coolest. Concerts are also fun to go to. I got out of the Marine Corps back in June and am stickin around Tampa for a while. This isn't a bad place and there's always somethin to do. Well, that's about all for now. Anything else, just ask."
Cody was living in Tampa, Florida at the time he wrote that. Jack was his dog, in the above photo.
Cody was the best friend anyone could have. His phone rang many times, and at all hours. The caller may have needed a sympathetic ear, or advice, or needed a ride. Whatever was needed, you could count on Cody.
Unfortunately, he died by suicide January 27th, 2007.
He is missed by many of his family members and his friends.

Cody's career in the Marines took him to various locations in the U.S. and abroad. It even included a stint in Iraq during the beginning of the war.
He was last assigned to Central Command at Tampa, Florida.
There is no Marine base there, so he bought his very first house. Of course it had a swimming pool, which attracted many friends.
